FLAIM Success and Awards

100% of 5th graders in the French program earn a DELF diploma by the French Ministry of Education for passing the DELF Exam.  The DELF exam assesses a student's competency in French.

2023 - Señora Gil recognized as LATM Outstanding Elementary Math Teacher in Louisiana

2023, 2020, 2019, 2011, 2010 - Merit School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America.

2023 - Recognized by the National ESEA Association for exceptional student performance for two or more consecutive years. 

2023 - Señora Gil recognized as EBR Elementary Mentor Teacher of the Year.

2022 - Señora Gil recognized as Magnet Schools of America’s Region 5 Teacher of the Year.  Region 5 consists of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
